On October 26, 2025, the Ministry of Transport in collaboration with the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) is offering a free Shuttle Bus service to facilitate public transportation for people attending the Royal Water-Pouring Ceremony of Her Majesty the Queen Mother at the Sahatthai Samakhom Pavilion, within the Grand Palace.
This initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to supporting smooth and accessible public transit during an event of national significance.
Eight Main Free Shuttle Bus Routes (Connecting Major Terminals and Key Points)
Each route operates from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, or until all attendees have safely departed from the area. The service is completely free of charge.
- Victory Monument (Phaya Thai side) – Sanam Luang
- Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal – Sanam Luang
- Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) – Sanam Luang
- Hua Lamphong Railway Station – Sanam Luang
- Ekkamai Bus Terminal – Sanam Luang
- Bang Yai – Sanam Luang
- Rajamangala National Stadium – Sanam Luang
- Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) – Sanam Luang
Pick-up and drop-off points for all routes are located at Na Phra Lan Road and near the Volunteer Soldier Monument in front of the National Theatre.

BMTA has arranged 21 buses across 6 major connection points linking the shuttle system to the city’s rail and water transport networks:

BTS Green Line
- Siam Station – Sanam Luang (3 buses)

In addition to the free shuttles, BMTA continues to operate 18 regular bus routes that pass through Sanam Luang, running from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Key routes include:
